Training
& Consultancy

Co-founding SelfCare Psychology with Kate has been a hugely rewarding part of my work. So either with SelfCare Psychology or alongside my therapy practice, I work with practitioners, teams, and organisations across the helping professions, and this work can change us in many ways, sometimes in beautiful ways, sometimes in difficult ways, and very often both.

Helping Professions is a term I use for those who work or volunteer in roles that support other human beings. This naturally leans towards counselling psychotherapy, health, social care, first responders’ teachers as a small example.

Through training, speaking, consultancy, and reflective support, my work explores both the impact and the value of helping supporting and caring for others, bringing together therapeutic practice, research, and lived professional experience.

I enjoy creating conversations that encourage people to think differently about this incredibly rewarding work.
