Workshops & Training
Sass Boucher MSc BA (Hons) MBACP | Stafford
I design and deliver workshops and training sessions both independently and through SelfCare Psychology Ltd, supporting organisations that work closely with distress, trauma, and high emotional demand.
My training focuses on workplace wellbeing, sustainability in caring roles, and understanding the emotional impact of working with others’ trauma. Sessions are grounded in research, practice experience, and real-world application, and are designed to be reflective, accessible, and relevant to participants’ everyday working lives.
Common themes include:
-
professional trauma and fatigue
-
burnout, stress, and compassion fatigue
-
ethical and sustainable self-care
-
reflective practice and supervision
-
recognising both the risks and rewards of caring work
Training can be adapted for students, practitioners, managers, and organisations, and ranges from introductory sessions to more in-depth workshops.
Organisations I have worked with include:
-
Staffordshire University
-
Manchester Metropolitan University
-
Coventry City Council
-
